PROJECT SUMMARY
An Industry Review Committee (IRC) consisting of Texas producers and commodity group sponsors of the national award winning Master Marketer Program identified the need for an Advanced Topic Series (ATS). ATS courses are intensive one and two day short courses designed to address marketing and management risks identified by producers as important to their future success.
All ATS courses are designed using the same teaching concepts that have been proven successful in the Master Marketer program. All topics are taught at a highly applied level by instructors that are not only experts but are recognized as effective communicators. Teaching methods include a balance of lecture, problem solving, small group work and simulation exercises.
A total of eleven ATS short courses were offered across Texas this year with an enrollment of 206 producers. Project evaluation addressed; registration, knowledge gained, implementation and financial impact
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 206
