PROJECT SUMMARY
The objective of this educational program was to assist agricultural producers, rural landowners, and other interested parties in their decision-making process regarding participation in the numerous state and federal conservation and farmland protection programs. Participants learned the goals and mechanics of the various programs as well as the advantages, disadvantages, and economic considerations associated with participation. This program utilized county, area, and state workshops and field days as well as written and web-based materials and decision-aids.
