PROJECT SUMMARY
Eight to ten market education seminars will be held across Idaho, lasting approximately five hours covering, but not limited to, cost of production, availability of risk management tools, cash/futures pricing, managing liability, historical trends, market outlook, need to identify "identity preserved” production and written marketing plans.

Because most producers are busy with limited time, seminars will be taken to small rural areas. Attendance in excess of 200 producers is anticipated. End results, each attendee will have the ability to establish an orderly written market plan to include knowledge on use of futures and options as a tool.

The seminars will teach producers how to change types of grain grown - grow for the market, which type of grain will return the most money and benefits of keeping these grains in separate storage facilities.

It is anticipated a high percentage of attendees will begin to use the principles taught in their operations.
