PROJECT SUMMARY
RightRisk Education Team members from eight western states met twice, continuing a coordinated effort to develop RightRisk and the supporting educational program. Previous grants had funded the development of fact sheets, a supporting website, and delivery of over 100 workshops across the west using portable computer laboratories to provide a hands-on educational experience making decisions in a simulated risk management environment.

This project funded two RightRisk Education Team meetings and on-going cooperative efforts to enhance RightRisk with educational programming for participants to experience following the completion of a RightRisk simulation scenario. Specifically, this project helped improve the management and decision-making skills of participants by effectively providing instruction on the implementation of specific risk management strategies in an agricultural operation. The experience gained as a result of this project increased participant knowledge, confidence, and ability to understand their decision-making environment.
