Dr. King's recent publications have appeared in American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Review of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness: An International Journal, Agricultural Systems, and Journal of Cooperatives.

"Achieving Scholarship in Agricultural Economics Extension with Declining Budgets"

Dr. Doye is a state Extension specialist; she develops educational materials and programs in farm management. She provides support as needed to area specialists and Extension Educators - Agriculture. Because farm management encompasses a wide variety of production, financial and decision-making practices, educational efforts have responded to needs in a broad array of topics. Her educational methods include publications, “hands on” computer workshops, displays at industry meetings, and presentations at regional and state meetings as well as local meetings. Audiences for workshops and materials developed include producers, agricultural lenders and other agricultural industry personnel, and Extension staff, both in-state and out-of-state.

Dr. Doye has authored or co-author of more than 400 publications on farm financial management, record-keeping, leasing, enterprise analysis, cost of production, integrated resource management and management information systems.

Dr. Ruud Huirne has been a professor of agricultural company management at Wageningen University since January, 1999.

The main focuses of his research and teaching are enterprise and supply chain management, decisive help, risk analysis and risk management. In 1986 he graduated with the main subjects economy and mathematics. In 1990 he completed his doctorate with the subject "Computer-controlled management help to pig-breeding companies" at Wageningen University.

After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Hurine was a guest scientist at Michigan State University and at the University of England Anew in Armidale, Australia.

Presently he is a leader of the "Farm Management Group" and the IRMA - Institute.

Ruud Huirne is a member of the editorial staff committee of scientific newspapers. Such newspapers include: "European Review of Agricultural Economics" and "Computers and Electronics in Agriculture".
